First Wave II

On the ground from behind the clear Lantern generated walls, Constantine watches the helicopters start their approach atop the cruiser in disgust while holding a flowerpot with a daisy.  

Swamp Thing - Smiles, in a near normal voice, "You owe me."

Constantine - "Fine.  Wait did you just ..."

Swamp Thing grabs him and throws him hard over the wall screaming toward Darkseid's cruiser.

The helicopters land and the Squad disembarks with the military back-up.

Harley - "Okay !  We're here !"  They look around ...
________________

Darkseid stands over the designs for the ship while DeSaad observes, a young Orion peers over the table to see.

Darkseid - "Are the ports well protected ?"

DeSaad - "As thick as the hull, my lord.  Sealed flush and indistinguishable."

Darkseid - "Ah ..."
________________

Constantine flies through the air curled around the flowerpot in a fetal position, cigarette in his teeth, eyes winced hard shut.
____

Deadshot locks on and looks closer at his approach before the flowerpot bursts into life and the Swamp Thing lands on the deck holding Constantine like a baby.  He opens his eyes and gives the smiling Thing a dirty look, jumping down and dusting the potting soil off.

He sees Harley and smiles, makes a picture box with his thumbs, looking through one eye while she smiles and poses snapshots.  He pulls out a can of spray paint, and begins painting, looks up from his work and back down, finishing and standing over a demonic sigil and smiling at her again.

He removes a blood filled syringe and squirts it in the center with a wink (cat shriek sound). He takes a last drag before throwing his cigarette in the blood.

Lucifer and Satan play chess in Hell.

Lucifer - "Checkmate."

Satan - "God _Damn_ it !  So what do you want ?"  Flips the board.

Lucifer - "It's little bit embarrassing, actually ..."
____

Diablo bursts from the sigil in flames, then human.

Constantine takes a bow and Harley squeals running forward with open arms, past him to his disappointment, hugging Diablo.

He watches them sadly as Swamp Thing hands him a daisy.

He exhales, closes his eyes, takes the daisy and is tossed screaming from the deck as Thing's husk body falls.

Diablo begins a full blast of fire, roaring his rage at the deck until he burns again, tearing and digging at the molten deck, Tunneling through.  All prep weapons (many explosives).

Rip - Storm brewing around them, between getting hit, "Do _you_ - Even _know_ - What you've _done ?!"_

A Sarah - "Yah !"  A punch with a jolt.

A Sarah - "We all thought about it and were like ..." A kick with spinning whirlwind.

A Sarah - "What would the great ..."  A slap spinning him, then mocking his voice  _" 'Rip Hunter'_ we actually _liked_ have done ?"

A Sarah - "Anything !"  A hit spinning him.

A Sarah - "It Takes !"  A gusting kick to the face.

A Sarah - "To Save !"  Another spinning punch, lowering him for balance.

A Sarah - "His _Family !"_  Horizontal drop kick putting him down with a lightning strike.

Flagg - Looking down the hole, yelling over the battlefield, "We've got to wait for that to cool down ... now here's the deal."  He glances into the tunnelling hole, "He doesn't give a fuck about this because he's already dead.  Now _as soon as we jump in that hole,_ those battleships open fire and they keep firing until they can't.  And then they're gonna toss whatever's left, _right_ at this _hole._

Deadshot zooms his rifle on the circling battleship turning it's cannons, taking fire from beneath their own feet.  Atlanteans shoot down the majority of artillery as Deadshot zooms to an impatient looking Superman, looking back.

He lowers the rifle and says in a normal volume, gesturing to it, "Sorry, this is how I look at things."

He looks back through the scope and sees Superman nod, then gesture with his head to 'please jump in the hole now', before shooting a rocket with his eyes.

He lowers the rifle.  "Huh.  That's cool." He turns to see everyone staring at him.

Flagg - "Yeah.  Well this ship's going _down,_ is what I'm saying."

A Sarah - "And _Why_ don't you cry when we hit you ?!"  Face kick tossing him off another's kick back.

Rip - On his knees, face healing, "Oh I was ready for _you_ Miss Canary.  But just so you know, it really does actually hurt still.  I just don't care anymore."

A Sarah - "Good."  

He catches the punch in a storm.

Rip - Wounds healing, "Therapy's over.  Are we feeling tired yet ?"  

They look at each other ...

Sarahs - "No ... no we're good."

A Sarah - "So ... dislocation then ?"

Sarahs - Nodding agreement, "Sure !  Yeah.  Lets try it."

Rip - "Oh no."

_! Crack !_

Flagg looks spits down the glowing hot metal hole, then looks to Deadshot.  "Now _you_ they can work with because you got a kid.  I'm not saying I agree with how they _do_ things, I'm saying that's how they do things.  So _you_ they give a _pardon._

Flagg - The rest of you ... they've got plausible deniability you died right here and _when_ this ship goes down it's gonna kick up a lot of dust, you get me ?  So you are _all D. O. A._  Just as _soon_ as you jump in that hole.  Waller's word.  And these grunts here ..."  He motions to the grinning soldiers, "they're about fucked like you.  Pulled their asses out of the brig for all _kinds_ of shit."

Harley - "What about you ?"

Flagg - "Me ?  I'm career man.  I love this shit."  He looks over the field.  "Hole's cooled down."

Harley - "You're fucking nuts dude."  She jumps in.

(Everything inside the cruiser is in extreme slow motion, everything outside is in real time.  It's stretched over the length of the song, until the crash.  All is silent but for the song.)

June Moone (former enchantress) holds Zoe (Deadshot's daughter) while they watch the squad enter the hole atop the cruiser on the news, armed guards behind them.

Diana approaches a wooden gate leading to a cave in a stony hill.
________

As each member slides down the hole they come out in slow motion firing away, cutting and doing what they do.  
____

June clutches Zoe while tears start streaming through looks of horror and shock.  "no ..."
____

Slow fire blooms ahead of them from Diablo's rampage, while outside in real time, the battleships resume their fire, circling the cruiser.
____

Inside the squad runs (in slow) down a walkway overlooking the massive deployment bay, tossing grenades while the soldiers fire RPGs.
____

Tanks and gathered military pound from the field while the battleships circle.  
____

Inside a slow bullet passes through the head of an invader and works it's way down the walkway.
____

Outside rows of gun placements blow from withing while the pounding from the battleships continues, as if following the bullet's path.
____

The bullet flies past and though reaching hands and crowding crew, climbing the many stairs from below along their path.
____

Explosions continue following outside.
____

Steppenwolf turns from the doorway to the control room, the bullet bouncing off his helmet's guard.  Diablo roars and charges forward, engulfing everything in flame.
____

The cruiser begins to shudder from explosions within and without as it's course veers, the hull beginning to twist in a groan.  Clark and Kara, now free of incoming artillery to block, start hitting the hull with their eyes.
____

Zoe's mother turns to the news on her way out the door noticing. then staring, while her boyfriend packs emergency supplies.
____

The crew of the battleships begin parachuting from the now wreckage, along with the Atlanteans who dive off as into the water, all firing below into the thick invading army.  They extend simple descent gliders, designed to flap as one would swim, slowing their descent.
____

Inside the team holds the control room as Diablo pounds Steppenwolf, all smashing and blowing systems, fire and explosions all around, holding off invaders at the door, Darkseid on his way behind them.
____

Kara and Clark throw the husks of the now empty battleship wrecks directly at the weak spot of the hole, one after the other.
____

Luna stares crying while holding Zoe sobbing against her chest.
________

Diana screams and crashes the gate with her fist, entering the cave.
________

The cruiser buckles and twists before striking the ground, dust and dirt flung as it grinds rolling to it's top, blinding all view.
